16th Jan 2009 13:06 Once upon a time,
There lived a girl who was nine
She liked to play with dolls
And the pink-nose pigtailed trolls
Her eyes were wide and staring
And her look was so caring
Her heart was open to the anxiety of life
Until one day her mother got a knife
She slit her wrists, simple suicide
The girl was frightened and tried to hide
But there was no where to run, so the girl went mad
And she slowly started turning bad
She was locked alone with her dad one day
He said she should pray
And she shut her eyes so tight
Her dad jumped out of the window into the night
His bones broke as he hit the ground
His heart stopped without a sound
The girl started sobbing, the tears never stopping
She rolled into a ball, back and forth she was rocking
She was sent into care, into an orphanage
For breakfast all they ate was gruel and porridge
And lunch was a meal that existed of none
And you were very lucky for dinner to come
Eventually this girl moved on,
She met her guy and they went to the prom
Many romantic dates did follow
Then he told her he would be dead by tomorrow
She refused to believe him, his eyes were so sad
Her head curled in confusion, her eyes turned mad
She woke up the next day with her love on the floor
She was left with no money, she was now poor
The man that she'd loved had deserted her now
She sat by the window and let out a great howl
Eventually she couldn't take it anymore
So she ran as fast as she could to the door
She pulled it open and charged down the stairs
She said to herself, 'Nobody cares,'
And she leapt into a lake
And drowned that day
Then came the moving of time
And we forgot all about the girl who was nine.
