Rain

Here I am staring at the window,
Watching the raindrops fall so slow.
It was a while back then where you left me all alone in the rain,
Where my heart screamed because of too much pain.
I thought it was you who said forever,
But it was you who left and turned everything to never.

I did not think your love for me would only be a snare,
And it turned my nights into nightmare.
It was as if I was cut by a sharp knife,
It was you who sheared this life.

I can still remember those sweet days we had,
you were like an angel who turned things to good from bad.
It was always your name that would appear everytime my phone beep,
And would always lullaby me in my sleep.
We used to climb that big old tree,
I would then spread my arms like a bird flying so free.

But everything has changed since that day;
I never thought it would happen for you were so happy and The chickens have .
You were surrounded by cars whose lights are red,
And was sleeping like a child on that wheeled bed.
I was confused and clueless,
Seeing you so lifeless.
With me, the heavens cried
For the person whom I loved had died.
