User Guide Lesson #1- On the Forum

But before I share my wisdom and comedy I have a question? (Or a few) Do you /like/ to be yelled at? No, you say? OK here are some tips to avoid that!
USE YOUR KEYBOARD. Sounds simple right? Should be, but ha. Now what I mean by using your keyboard has greatly to do with this thing called 'chat speak'. Mostly used when texting on your PHONE. But here, on your wonderful computer with a keyboard that most likely has keys 1/2'' by 1/2'' that insane language of abreviations is not needed. TYPE. Words (NOT NUMBERS) like 'for', don't need '4' typed, 'to', too', no, don't use '2'. That's stupid. Seriously. Rather than cutting out vowels stick them in. (Cht Spk) Another pet peeve is this 'h8te' rather than 'hate'. Hey you, let's count together, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, oh look, both have four letters, use and 'a' not and '8' people Dx
You think this sounds stupid and pointless? Not using your keyboard is just that. Trust me, I've been playing on VPS (Virtual Pet Sites) for over 3 years. Even if you're two days old on the website and you have no clue how to play if you go to the forums and spell words correctly, CAPITILIZE WHEN NEEEEEEEDDDEDD! (Can't stress that enough Dx) and don't use abbreviations /excessivly/ users will flock to help you, rather than thinking of you as some newb with vocabulary issues ready to spam the forum they will think of you as some tender new users asking for help.
So let's tie this lesson in a nutshell...
1. Excessive abreviations = nono...
2. Capitilize the beginning of sentences, names, etc.
3. Don't put numbers in place of letters or words. (This is of course OK if you are actually using a number xD)
4. Punctuation is key, periods and commas are your friend.
Keep on the lookout for Lesson #2 on it's way!
