4th May 2009 10:49 *Ok so you want to trade pets? Well the first thing you need to do is learn the value of your pet.
That means knowing the value of the costume, stats, all books, cds, dvds, spells, instruments, etc. NOTE: You only add book/instrument/etc. value if it's worth 1 million or offer.*
- Just jumping right into pet trading is not a good idea. There's many things that play into the value of a pet.
- Take books for example. My huthiq (no longer have, just an example) had 115 books.....BUT.....Most of those are from SS so the added value is only 917,099 mps. So you see, just because a pet has a lot of books, does not always mean that it adds a lot of value. The same would go for cds, dvds, etc. It all depends on what the pet has.
- If in doubt of the value given to you by a pet trader, then ask to see the list of books, cds, dvds, etc.
!NEVER EVER take a persons word for it, that's how people get scammed!
- Now on to posting on trading topics. Read the first post of a persons topic CAREFULLY. It usually tells you what they are looking for, what they are and are NOT trading. It will also tell you if they want to receive mails or not. Also, it might help to read their profile or blogs, it usually has what pets are and are not for trade, etc.
- Ok, so you offered and the person said no thank you.
Not a big deal, maybe that is just not what they are looking for or they just don't care for that particular pet. NEVER take it personally. Say thank you for your time and leave it at that. Being rude, or getting mad because someone said NTY or not worth it, doesn't really help matters. Be respectful and accept their decision, after all it is their pet your offering on.
- ALSO.........if you go to someones topic DON'T tell them to offer, because you went to their topic so therefore YOU SHOULD OFFER not them.
- Not everyone likes gym stats, school stats, etc. BUT they all still add value to a pet. Everything you do for your pet adds value in some way or another, it all just takes time.
- Remember, people love well named pets. That means no numbers, underscores, funny symbols and
the first letter must be capitalized.
- A non le pet is NOT worth an LE pet unless statted. Stats needed depend on the LE pet you want to offer on and
Also on that LE pets current worth/value(what it cost to even create the pet, does not include stats, books, etc).
If you know your offer is not worth it, then don't, for goodness sake, don't bother posting it.
