Ties that bind

Chapter one.
I sat staring at my brother. His eyes stood out in the pitch black room. His eyes,blue like the rest of ours shone in the darkness whilst mine barely even showed up when I glimpsed in the mirror. His hands tightened as the wind around us grew louder and louder. Things flew around us and I snapped my eyes shut and waited for it to end. It never did. It just grew louder and louder till there was a bang. My eyes flung open and without thinking I let go of his hands. The lights flew on as police funneled into the room. A man stood in the corner with a gun. It had been fired. My eyes instictively looked at my body. Nothing. I slowly looked up. My brother was lying in a pool of blood.

I woke up in bed screaming. My mum and dad burst into the room. They cuddled me for a bit and then I went back to sleep.
