A New Change
------------------
Part one

NEW ARRIVAL
I was different and I knew that. I never had a problem of being the one left out in a crowd but when you have to keep a secret from your friends than that's when it starts to bother. In some ways I was happy i was going to a school where there would be more people like me but he truth was I didn't want to be 'gifted' the way my aunty Steph said it. When she would say it, it seemed like she was HAPPY I had my powers, like it wasn't a big deal. I couldn't blame her though, she didn't have any powers so she didn't know what it was really like. My aunty told me one night my mom was gifted also, and so was my father. I guess the powers were some genetic thing that past from my dads blood to mine. It had always been a mystery to how my mother got them, especially since nobody else form her side of the family had them. I sighed as I thought of my parents. How could they leave me at only age 16?I missed them so much it hurt to think of my moms gorgeous face and my dads brilliant smile. They were both good people and they didn't deserve to die. They past away just five months ago, but Steph wouldn't tell me what happened. I didn't know what caused their death, where they were when it happened, why it happened or anything at all. All i knew was that I received my powers that day and that they didn't deserve to die and I wished they were steel here with me today.

I was lost in my thoughts when we arrived at the place that was going to be our new home. "Ella snap out of it, we're here!" My aunty said in a voice that was full of excitement.I shook my head to get my mind out of the daze I was in. I smiled at my aunty and tried to sound as happy as possible "Yay! The house looks nice" I replied. It was a small house but cozy. There was a white wooden fence around a small square shaped lawn. The walls were painted a soft shade of pink and flowers were growing from every spot in the grass. My aunty turned the mini van off and I hoped out of thevehicle.Steph and I went to the moving truck and carried all of our belongings into the house. The day went by pretty fast. We unpacked most of the stuff had dinner, watched a movie than went to bed.

I tossed and turned most of the night.my dreams weren't always pleasant since I received my gifts and lost both of my parents. The alarm clock went off. I groaned, got it and pressed the snooze button. After a few minuted my aunty went into the room and made me wake up. "It's time to wake up you have school" she said as she knocked on my door. My new room was just right down the hall from the kitchen and across from my auntys.Steph had decided to give me the bigger room considering I had more furniture than she did."Uh-huh" I said to let know i was getting out of bed. I was glad i unpacked most of my clothes last night and walked to my closet.I took a long shower enjoying the warm water drip onto my back. When I was finally out i put on my grayish skinny jeans, a fitted black v-neck top and layered it with a white studded belt. I slipped on my white converse and pulled my chocolate brown hair, which was the same color as my eyes, into a simple ponytail leaving my side bangs cover my left eye.

When i walked out of the bathroom i decided to go to the kitchen. I found my aunt sitting at the glass table with two plates of eggs, sausage, potatoes and two glass of milk. I stayed looking at her admiring her beauty. She had the same grey eyes as my mom, a heart shaped face, and a light shade of brown hair that was always down against her carmeal complexion. I was glad she hadn't noticed my stare and greeted me with joy in her voice."Good morning, my love". Although her voice was cheerfull and sounded happy I knew she was really worried. With my power it was hard for people to hide their emotions from me. I was able to sense what they were feeling and if wanted I could change those exact feelings. Of course as soon as i left from where they were that atmosphere would change again, back to the way it was before I used my power. At the new school I was going to attend my goal was to learn how to control my power to where it wouldn't ware off as quickly. "Morning aunty" I replied as I sat down. She took a small bite of food then tried to make small talk and act happy. It was getting on my nerves that she was trying so hard so I made it easier for her. I blocked out what she was saying and concentrated hard. After, her tension went away and she didn't have to fake her happiness. We both ate then she drove me to school.

She parked the mini van and I unbuckled. "Love you sweetie, have a good day at school" she told me while I was getting out. "you to" I told her before I shut the door. The van pulled away and i took a deep breath before i walked closer to the school building. As I walked my brown hair swayed from side to side. I pulled out my schedule from my hot pink back pack and walked to my first class. I was the first one in there and sat at a table that was in the back of the room. I tried to memorize my schedule than the bell rank. A bunch of kids rushed their way in. Once the teacher walked into the class the kids suddenly grew silent. He looked like he was in At least his mid fifties and wore a grey suit. "We have a new student" He announced to the class. He turned his attention to me"Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?" he asked.I sighed and stood up. I hated to be the center of attention. I forced a smile and did what the teacher ordered. " I'm Ella." He observed me and nodded. "Tell us something about you" he ordered. "Um I love music, and ..I uh I don't know. There isn't much to say" I mumbled turning a light shade of pink.

I prefer paragraph intros, unless a list intro only contains basic information such as age, name, powers(if any), personality, ect. If you decide to use a list intro please back it up with a paragraph describing either the appearnce of your chacater, setting, or anytihng else worth writing a paragraph about.

If you do a 1x1 with me, you must understand that at times I will log off with out a warning, although I try not to do that. Also I make alot of spelling mistakes at times such as spelling to ot or and nad.I have been improving at my typos though happy.gif

I dislike one liners very much or sentences such as 'he sat there then....'. Writers block is acceptable though. If you wish to discontinue a role play please say so, and don't just ignore me.

*means I'll only do with a plot. I'll combine any themes together(Gifted and horror or sometihng like that).

gifted
teen problems (pre-teen peer pressure, gang violence, disorders, familt trouble, etc)
vampire
*elemental
*mystery
*horror
*ghost or haunted
romance

(I have never done one, but I am willing to try)
*fantasy
*spies
*futuristic

Hmm..I can't think of any more but I'll be sure to add more to the list if I remember any.

Will NOT do
-------------
anything based on a tv show or book YES IT INCLUDES ANIME(Although I don't mind Role playing into the same plot, just not the same characters)
animal

If a certain theme isn't listed just ask. Also I don't bite so feel free to mail me anytimehappy.gif

STOP CHILD ABUSE

OMG!!!

SAD STORY
Her name was Aurora
She was only five
This is what happened
When she was alive

Her dad was a drunk
Her mom was an addict
Her parents kept her
Locked in an attic

Her only friend
was a little toy bear
It was old and worn out
And had patches of hair

She always talked to it
When no one's around
She lays there and hugs it
Not a peep of sound

Until her parents
unlock the door
Some more and more pain
She'll have to endore

A bruise on her leg
A scar on her face
Why would she be
In such a horrible place?

But she grabs her bear
And softly crys
She loves her parents
But they want her to die

She sits in the corner
Quiet but thinking,
" God, why? Why is
My life always sinking? "

Such a bad life
For a sad little kid
She'd get beaten and beaten
For anything she did

Then one night
Her mom came home high
The poor child was hit and slapped
As hours went by

Then her mom suddenly
Grabbed for a blade
It was sharp and pointy
One that she made

She thrusted the blade
Right in her chest,
" You deserve to die
You worthless pest! "

The mom walked out
Leaving the girl slowly dying
She grabbed her bear
And again started crying

Police showed up
At the small little house
They quickly barged in
Everything was as quiet as a mouse

One officer slowly
Opened a door
To find the sad little girl
Lying on the floor

It must have been bad
To go through so much harm
But at least she died
With her best friend in her arms

A child dies every day from child abuse. And if you have an ounce of pity in you for little Aurora and you hate child abuse with a passion you will repost this and help out those abused children and let them know that someone cared for them. If you don't then you should at least put a link to it, this is horrible what happened to these innocent children. It doesn't take that long to repost only about 10 seconds so please just do it. its worth it to let everyone see this.

daddy's poem

Don't read without tissues because it will make you cry if you have a heart..

Daddy's Poem

Her hair was up in a pony tail,

her favorite dress tied with a bow.

Today was Daddy's Day at school,

and she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,

that she probably should stay home.

Why the kids might not understand,

if she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid; she knew just what to say. What to tell her classmates of why he wasn't there today.

But still her mother worried,

for her to face this day alone.

And that was why once again,

she tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school

eager to tell them all.

About a dad she never sees;

a dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back, for everyone to meet.

Children squirming impatiently,

anxious in their seats

One by one the teacher called a student from the class. To introduce their daddy, as seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,

every child turned to stare.

Each of them was searching,

for a man who wasn't there.

"Where's her daddy at?"

she heard a boy call out.

"She probably doesn't have one,"

another student dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,

she heard a daddy say,

"Looks like another deadbeat dad,

too busy to waste his day."

The words did not offend her,

as she smiled up at her Mom.

And looked back at her teacher,

who told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,

slowly she began to speak.

And out from the mouth of a child,

came words incredibly unique.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,

because he lives so far away.

But I know he wishes he could be,

since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,

I wanted you to know.

All about my daddy,

and how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories

he taught me to ride my bike.

He surprised me with pink roses,

and taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,

and ice cream in a cone.

And though you cannot see him.

I'm not standing here alone.

"Cause my daddy's always with me,

even though we are apart

I know because he told me,

he'll forever be in my heart"

With that, her little hand reached up,

and lay across her chest.

Feeling her own heartbeat,

beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere here in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears.

Proudly watching her daughter,

who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love

of a man not in her life.

Doing what was best for her,

doing what was right.

And when she dropped her hand back down, staring straight into the crowd.

She finished with a voice so soft,

but its message clear and loud.

"I love my daddy very much,

he's my shining star.

And if he could, he'd be here,

but heaven's just too far

You see he was a firefighter

and died just this past year

When airplanes hit the towers

and taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,

it's like he never went away."

And then she closed her eyes,

and she saw him there that day.

And to her mothers amazement,

she witnessed with surprise

A room full of daddies and children,

all starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them,

who knows what they felt inside.

Perhaps for merely a second,

they saw him at her side.

"I know you're with me Daddy,"

to the silence she called out.

And what happened next made believers,

of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,

for each of their eyes had been closed.

But there on the desk beside her,

was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,

by the love of her shining star.

And given the gift of believing,

that heaven is never too far.

They say it takes a minute to find a special

person, an hour to appreciate them,

a day to love them, but then an entire

life to forget them.

REPOST THIS TO SHOW APPRCIATION for the people you'll never forget . It's a short message to let them know that you'll never forget them.

If you don't REPOST THIS, it means you're

in a hurry and that you've forgotten your friends.

Take the time...to live and love.

Until eternity

post this in your blog as "Daddy's Poem"
